Texas Creek is where the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad split off of the main line up the Arkansas and built the first standard gauge line to Westcliffe in about 1900. Today the railroad is long gone, but state route 69 to Westcliffe begins here.  This area is also a hub for a lot of outdoor activities.   Check it out when you are here.  Rafting, ATV Tours and food are all available nearby.
The cache is real small, but perhaps not too hard to find. 
Look for an old piece of equipment.
Beware, there could be Mugglers lurking about at any time.

I noticed the DNF, so when I drove by today I stopped to check.
