North of Traquil Acres in the Pike National Forest near Woodland Park.
There is maze of Hiking, Horseback, 4x4, ATV and Motorcycle trails. The best Place to gain access to all the trails is from Tranquil Acres off of the trailhead of trail 717 near the Tranquil Cache or there is another 4x4 trail up the road thats a little closer that I used to Hike 1.7 miles in to place the cache (See Additional Waypoints below) although it is possible to get a lot closer by Truck,ATV, DirtBike...
The Cache is NOT near the edge.............ENJOY the Views

Penny Dreadful. I followed a bad hunch coming up the mule creek trail and took a small side trail toward the cache. Went half mile straight up the mountain in heavy underbrush, thought that was bad but then i had to work my way around and up the rocks. Made it though and found the cache, beautiful views. Thanks.

Decided to hike from Red Rocks (HWY 67) great day for it, TFTC, SL...

This spot is fantastic and worth whatever effort it take to get here. I'm always amazed at the places estes01 can squeeze her Jeep through. I'm glad good weather is here and we can go out and play. This is a favorite both for the location and the adventure to get there. TFTC

A maze of trails and roads indeed…and WingsandTales and I made some new ones as we searched for the correct route to the cache. The Jeep wanted to prove to us that it could squeeze through anything an ATV could and fortunately it succeeded. What a blast! We were both surprised and impressed by the cache location. A favorite point for an excellent spot and for all the fun we had getting there.

Yes.... A penny stash cache with cash in it. Found pretty quickly in a good spot. Great view from up here & good view of Woodland. Swapped some pennies. This one gets a favorite. Thanks. SL

I parked at the suggested parking and headed in by foot. I spotted the cache fairly quickly and as I was pulling it out it made a strange noise and I thought to myself "What was that?". It also seem heavier than normal and once I opened it the cache became clear! TFTC.

The coordinates are perfect! I like the camo job. Lots of pennies still in the cache. The view from up here is great. No ATV or dirt bike. Roc buff and I took a circuitous hiking route - did nearly 10 miles. The trees are starting to change. Left a TB.

TFTC Well another year later and a little more experienced and finding the right road finally got me a smilie face for this one. I have enjoyed several of your caches and appreciate your efforts.
