This cache was placed to remember the grand adventure 'K Trackers' and I had while searching for
'Rising From The Pines' (GC4BE7T).
I had presented the incorrect coordinates and we set off on a much longer hike than was necessary.
Don't worry, you will only have to suffer about half of what 'K Trackers' put me through. I made it out alive. So, I feel great about that.
I believe we had crossed three spurs of the same hilltop. Sadly, although we were just .3mi from the cache, we had to give up on the trek to the proper GZ due to daylight, terrain and distance back to the car.
We crossed a spot on the top of the hill on the way back to the car and I decided I couldn't leave the area without feeling some sort of accomplishment. Plus there was a nice little spot to hide something.
Of course, just my luck I tried to publish the cache and the "CAVES" cache was just a 100ft away...
Which is why the "(twice)" is in the name. I had to return just to move the container. I was going to place it down the hill toward the parking waypoint, but decided that was too easy.
The container is on the X-Large side of a 'Micro', just not quite a 'Small' in my book.
Find your way around the rocks near the "CAVES" cache, and head down towards GZ.
I don't want you to get there and have a DNF. So see the hint if you really need a spoiler.
Please replace as found so it doesn't wash down the hill.
K Trackers signed the FTF slot, but that was when he knew where it was. I'll still allow him to log the cache, but the FTF should go to another cacher since it's 500-600ft away from the original hide.
Second (true) FTF goes to hartsdale. Congrats!
I had 19ft accuracy, so if you average better coordinates, let me know.

This was the original hiding spot. You might pass it on the way to GZ. Cool little root of a tree that the container fit into perfectly.
The perfect hides are often taken.
