Dogs  Scenic view  Medium hike (1km-10km)

A friend(COpackrat) gave me this container for my birthday last fall.  Now that the snow is gone and the weather is fine it's time to share.  The sweetest rewards I've received from geocaching have been the friendships I've made along the way.  I was looking for inspirational things to say about friendship and found this:

Friends don't let friends do crazy things...alone

Have fun hiking in one of my favorite areas and don't do anything crazy...alone.

There was only time for a short hike today and this one fit nicely. It's been a while since we've been to this area. There was a little snow last night and it was still dripping from some of the trees, making me regret not wearing heavier (and waterproof) clothes. Great view spot, TFTC!

I happen to know that when you decide to do crazy things to get a cache, this friend is unable to stop you. I love this container! Such a great birthday gift for a cacher. Had a feeling you'd eventually put a cache up there. Great view of Pikes Peak and it was covered in snow.

I got an early start this morning on my “honeydew” list, anyway these published when I was only half way done. ? ( Always remember “ Happy Wife makes a very happy Husband” )

They were logged before I finished, so remembering the trail and the southern hillside exposer at the upper part, I checked the current temperature and it was in the low 50’s in WP.

There were three cars in the lot and mine made four.

I didn’t see anyone out and back , that made for a nice quiet hike.

Made the grab on the cute container, but how does it open ( I thought that I was going to have to use a rock) , I guess that thought made the log just kind of appear in my hand.

Thanks for the gift and great exercise to go with it!

I was actually headed out the door to go for a hike when the notification on this one appeared, so I called an audible and moved my hike to this area ;-) And what a nice area in is, so thanks to Wings and Tales for enticing me up here! Plus, I agree with her sentiment in the cache description especially since I consider her and Susan as two of my best friends! I loved her quote as well and although I was alone on this hike I didn't do anything crazy, I promise ;-) It was a beautiful day, I got my second FTF and I definitely social distanced as I saw no one else on the trails ;-) Thanks for introducing me to this spot to see this cute container, Karen!
