Take the Hike that puts you Above BV
This is a great hike, mostly trailed more than half way up. It gets pretty technical the last 25% but well worth the trip!! The altitude at the box is 9319 ft. and total vert. climb is about 1300ft Enjoy!!

Enjoyed the short hike up here, and the views once I arrived. Thanks for the fun cache!

Surprised this hadn't been logged in almost 3 years but now we're the 3rd this year alone. This is a tough hike! We started on the bike trail but that didn't get us far. We ended up on an old two track at the far northwest end of the ridge. We were able to gain that point pretty easily but it was just a rock, bush, tree, sideslope bust from there. Finally got to the final 200' pitch and other than the steepness the terrain was almost easier than the rest of the ridge. Taking a nice rest in the sun before heading down. Perhaps we'll try a slightly different descent route.

Knew nothing about geocaching until I found this at the end of my hike. :)

I wanted to do some early season hiking and had time to give this one a shot. The hike is steep but with careful planning and good route finding skills it's not really technical. I did a little rock scrambling on the way up but discovered a better route down. The cache was very easy to find but it looks like people have been using it as a summit log too. I removed a few food items that really shouldn't be in a cache. Thanks for a great hike. TFTC
