A quick virtual cache. Just find the unusual object. Enjoy the drive!!!
This is Scott’s Dad’s favorite thing in Colorado. He first saw it back in 70’s. Email us a picture or a description of the place to verify you saw it. It’s another great, little known area of Colorado to enjoy.

Cool rock!! If it could only tell us the story of the winds, water, and other forces that helped shape it into what it is today! This was a quick stop while out with the family. Thanks for pointing this out and bringing us to this neat spot! TFTC

Drove all the way here, from IN and working in Pueblo, CO so doing my solo caching thing.... Well the mini cooper they loaned me did not like the climb or the dirt road. I almost got to the cache when the car just wasn't doing so good, so sad had to turn around and go back down. Hoping my work buddies will bring me back :-( in a car worthy vechicle

Acachingcat and I came to the area from Florida. We were primarily looking for virtuals and earth caches but we also found quite a few regulars, challenges, web cams and others. We had so much fun. We added 7 new states to our stats. We added 14,000+ in elevation caches, Mingo and Taryall. We saw so many great things, mountains, waterfalls, elk, moose, deer, marmot, prong horn, so many bunnies and other small critters. We learned so much history no matter where we went. I appreciate every single CO who placed a cache along the way for us to find. Any emails, photos or answers will be included in acachingcat's log for us both. Only geocachers would drive that road to find this. It started raining right after we took our photos.

This was Smithj9 and my second day in the Colorado Springs area and we got up early and had a plan to visit Pike's Peak, Manitou Springs, and the Garden of the Gods Park before they got overrun with people. We tried to visit Manitou Springs yesterday after lunch, but it was packed to the hilt. We did pretty well and it paid off to get an early start. By the time we came down from Pikes Peak, the line of traffic to pay to drive up was all the way down to the interstate, and about 8 miles down the interstate towards Manitou Springs! Unbelievable! We got out of there and carried on our way, eventually meandering around hunting some Earthcaches, Virtuals, and some traditional caches on our way. We saw a lot of beautiful areas and learned a lot about the history ang geology of the areas as we went. Thanks for placing and maintaining these for us to enjoy on our visit from Florida.
