Out on a 4x4 trail, but this would also make a good hike. Not far from the road. This was the part of the trail that we got up to 20 MPH.

Today was my birthday so we were out camping and riding a borrowed ATV around Aspen Ridge & the Chinaman Gulch loop portion only (a bit of a challenge for 2 up on a ranch style ATV). I did end up walking at several spots & we had to put a rope on the front at the Whale's Tail to keep it from tipping over backwards. We found all of the caches over the weekend except this one, so sad to have to post a dnf. Noted it was just replaced and the hint no longer applies, but there were many places to hide a small cache in all the area debris. We looked for over 20 minutes before we decided we had to move on as we could hear thunder and we still had to get back to the top of the loop and out the ATV trail back to camp.

Spending our 5th summer in Buena Vista with a dozen or so of our Jeeping friends. We love to explore the roughest, toughest dirt roads in our gold-mobile, and find lonely caches in out-of-the-way places.

Accompanying a friend who took his new Jeep on maiden voyage to Chinaman Gulch, this was our turn around point and I couldn't resist getting the new replacement. Coordinates are right on but the hint no longer applies. TFTC
