This is a puzzle cache. The physical cache is not at the above listed coordinates. In order to locate the cache you must decipher the true coordinates from the puzzle below. Good luck.

This is one of fourteen caches that make up the Western Sky portion of the Path of the Zodiac series of caches. Thirteen of the caches composing this portion represent the thirteen constellations that occupies the ecliptic that defines the Western Zodiac. The fourteenth cache, Path of the Zodiac: The Western Sky, can only be located after the initial thirteen caches in the portion have been located and the clues they contain gathered. The order in which these thirteen caches are found does not matter, but finding all of them is a requirement to seek out and log the fourteenth cache.

In mythology, the constellation of Gemini represents the twins Castor and Pollux. While born of the same mother, they had different fathers. Castor's father was a mortal, while Pollux's father was the immortal Zeus. As a result, Castor was mortal while his brother was immortal. When Castor was killed in a fight Pollux agreed to split his immortality with his brother in order to save his life. For this sacrifice, Zeus elevated the twins into the heavens as the constellation Gemini.

The Riddle of Gemini might seem like the twin of another cache. That would certainly seem fitting for a cache of this sort. Of course, it begs the question: are they fraternal or identical?

When you find the cache remember to record the clue contained inside the container. You'll need it if you are looking to complete the full series.

Outside of providing a coordinate checker for each puzzle, I will not give personal help, hints, etcetera until the whole of the Path of the Zodiac series have been completed by a few cachers. It's the only fair way to do it as completing this series should be considered something of an accomplishment and making it to the end should go to those who make it there on their own devices. Cachers that have worked out a puzzle are discouraged from giving much away if asked for help in order to keep up the level of challenge provided by this series.

This was the hardest of the bunch for me as I was off trying to solve the problem in the wrong direction. FINALLY. Now off to solve the final now that I have all the numbers from the caches. I went back and gave favorites to all the caches in the series as it was a lot of fun.

PS cllecr's hedgehogs are still hanging out here after 5 years!!!!

I hate this ducking cache!! This was the biggest pain and was the last one solved; you really need to raise the difficulty on this one (I'll suggest a 4 freely). Enough whining... The hike is great, I seem to be taking something of a zig zag course but it's better to see the place (less zig-zag than I'm saying, I really did zig-zag later). TFTC!! A great series.
