This is a puzzle cache. The physical cache is not at the above listed coordinates. In order to locate the cache you must decipher the true coordinates from the puzzle below. Good luck.

This is one of fourteen caches that make up the Western Sky portion of the Path of the Zodiac series of caches. Thirteen of the caches composing this portion represent the thirteen constellations that occupies the ecliptic that defines the Western Zodiac. The fourteenth cache, Path of the Zodiac: The Western Sky, can only be located after the initial thirteen caches in the portion have been located and the clues they contain gathered. The order in which these thirteen caches are found does not matter, but finding all of them is a requirement to seek out and log the fourteenth cache.

The identity of Virgo the Virgin has never been conclusive, a real riddle, and the constellation has been associated with a variety of female goddesses. One association is with the Astraea, the celestial virgin, and goddess of justice. She is often depicted carrying the scales of justice represented in the nearby constellation of Libra.

The Riddle of Virgo may not be as direct as some may like, but the pursuit of a straight answer rarely is.

THE RIDDLE OF VIRGO

Virgo who?

When you find the cache remember to record the clue contained inside the container. You'll need it if you are looking to complete the full series.

Outside of providing a coordinate checker for each puzzle, I will not give personal help, hints, etcetera until the whole of the Path of the Zodiac series have been completed by a few cachers. It's the only fair way to do it as completing this series should be considered something of an accomplishment and making it to the end should go to those who make it there on their own devices. Cachers that have worked out a puzzle are discouraged from giving much away if asked for help in order to keep up the level of challenge provided by this series.

Oh my gosh, I knew what I had to do for this puzzle right from beginning, but darned if I could figure out with what! Eventually a little nudge helped me identify the missing part and I was off to the solution. How did I miss that when I knew everything else about the puzzle.

The walk to the final was fairly quick and we were able to find the cache without much trouble. I can't believe these are solved and found more often since the area is gorgeous and Zircon202 would still be there taking photos if I hadn't insisted we move along. TFTC

Solved not too long ago and my weekend of caching on the mesa has been spoiled by the snowfall, so I came here instead to work on this series. Glad that I did, interesting area and not crowded at all. Thanks.

Two own and on to the next one, Virgo the Virgin. Virgo was a fun puzzle that required some thought but actually came a little on the faster side (compared to some of the puzzles). Getting to thhe cache required relocating Hobune and then hopping into the area (boy, I was thinking about bringing my mountain bike, glad I didn't after seeing the terrain). Cache was as the earlier ones, great placement and in great shape; TFTC.

Found the cache on Pi day. I placed this one on the back burner for a year since I had no clue where to find the answer for this mess. Another great puzzle! TFTC SL TNLN
