This is a puzzle cache. The physical cache is not at the above listed coordinates. In order to locate the cache you must decipher the true coordinates from the puzzle below. Good luck.

This is one of fourteen caches that make up the Western Sky portion of the Path of the Zodiac series of caches. Thirteen of the caches composing this portion represent the thirteen constellations that occupies the ecliptic that defines the Western Zodiac. The fourteenth cache, Path of the Zodiac: The Western Sky, can only be located after the initial thirteen caches in the portion have been located and the clues they contain gathered. The order in which these thirteen caches are found does not matter, but finding all of them is a requirement to seek out and log the fourteenth cache.

The constellation of Taurus represents a miriad of mythical bulls. From the Cretan Bull to the bull form Zeus took on to abduct Europa.

The Puzzle of Taurus reflects the games of chance one always plays when challenging a bull. This one is probably safer, however, as you probably won't be gored if you make a misstep.

THE PUZZLE OF TAURUS

When you find the cache remember to record the clue contained inside the container. You'll need it if you are looking to complete the full series.

Outside of providing a coordinate checker for each puzzle, I will not give personal help, hints, etcetera until the whole of the Path of the Zodiac series have been completed by a few cachers. It's the only fair way to do it as completing this series should be considered something of an accomplishment and making it to the end should go to those who make it there on their own devices. Cachers that have worked out a puzzle are discouraged from giving much away if asked for help in order to keep up the level of challenge provided by this series.

This was one of the easier puzzles for me since I had solved similar ones previously. My method for solving is probably fairly simplistic but it works and I had the coor. solved without much problem.

There were very few people in the area today because of the heat, but it was an easy walk to the final on this one and we were back in the air conditioned car after a quick hike. TFTC

I think this one was my first solve a while back. Got some bug bites finding the cache. So far, the single brain cell is holding up. TFTC

Ok, some miss adventures to get here but finishing up the main part of the series. I'm beat tired and still need to get to Cancer. Taurus's puzzle was a quick solve while on vacation. I'm coming off of a couple of mistakes have made for more hiking than I thought. That said I've had a great time doing them. TFTC.

Musestricken finally figured this one out. So clever and simple when you see the connections.
We also found some cool fossils on the way to the cache. SL TFTC.

Fun puzzel, when it clicks. This series has me thinking most of the time and realizing I'm over thinking the rest of the time.

Great spring night for a cache .. or two. SL
