The Estes Valley Community Center is a one-stop recreation facility which opened in February 2018. It offers so much, from a lazy walking river, a lap pool, multi-court gym, lots of workout equipment and more. It also has a FREE walking/running track.  BUT, did you know that Estes Park Elementary School was originally in this same spot? It was constructed in 1969 and eventually demolished in 2014. Throughout the years, it had as many as five additions done to it. The new elementary school to the east was built in 1997 and expanded in 2007.

Parking available at the community center. Beware of exercising muggles, it’s a busy place. BYOP.

My family and I met up with some good friends here in Estes for the week. While this kids all took a bike ride around the lake with the other set of parents, my half-muggle, half-cacher husband and I decided to grab a few local caches. I love how geocaching friendly this town is! Thanks for the hide!
