A fun, scenic drive up Lookout Mountain Road, a short hike to a rocky peak with wonderful views of Golden, Denver, the mountains, and paragliders during the summer.

The cache is an old ammo can. It is located at the first peak to the north east of Mt. Zion's summit. Look for it under the overhang of a big rock just east of the trail near the very top of the peak. Bring something to trade and have fun!

Went up before dinner. Wow lots of people hiking it. I guess to watch the sunset. I couldn't find it. I looked at the obvious place and then I expanded the search area with no luck. That would have been my 800th geocache find.

No luck with this one today. I looked all over for it from the posted coords to the coords suggested by another cacher. I will keep an eye on it.

We tried, but no luck... cords kept moving us in different directions... sadly lots of signs of A-holes everywhere, broken bottles, beer cans, trash... muggles probably took it...

Garlic and I rode our bikes to your given parking coords. Then hiked up to the cache. Very nice container filled with goodies. We signed the log, and didn't take anything. I've never been on this trail, and we really enjoyed it. I'm giving it a favorite point.
