UPDATE: July 26, 2018. No Trespassing signs have been put up around the property. To avoid any potential trespassing issues I am posting the final coordinates. You do not have to enter the property to retrieve this cache. It is now a park and grab. No puzzle solving required.

A quick and easy field puzzle.

South Cañon Hall was dedicated in 1938. It was a project of the National Youth Administration (NYA), a Roosevelt era New Deal agency that focused on providing work and education for Americans between the ages of 16 and 25. Up until about 20 years ago this building was still in use and hosted many dances, wedding receptions, plays, concerts and parties. I can remember going to several functions here in the 1970s and 1980s. A few years ago the city tried unsuccessfully to sell this property. Today it appears to be in a state of disrepair and only used as a storage facility.

Go to the posted coordinates. Locate the plaque on the west side of the building. Using the information on the plaque answer the following questions:

On an all day cache outing with Ark Goose in the Canon City area to pursue puzzles, challenges, and other interesting caches along the way. It was a perfect day for caching. We were mostly successful in our endeavors with only a few DNFs along the way. There were some that we started to pursue and determined they would require more time and effort than we could invest today so saved them for another time. Thanks to the COs for providing and maintaining a lot of fun caches in this area. Also discovered a lot of fun TBs along the way. Another one I give a FP to for making it an easy solve/find. I was in the downtown area today and finished my business sooner than expected. I took the opportunity to check up on most of my caches in the area. This cache is in place and in good condition. I put a new baggie in for the log. Read the cache description to make this an easy find. Cache on!

Picking up some caches in Colorado Springs as I move to Wyoming. This was a very nice park and grab with the gang, the weather is definitely a lot nicer then Houston Tx.

While on a routine cache maintenance run I noticed that No Trespassing signs had been posted on this property. Rather than archive this I moved the container to a spot that can be accessed without entering the property. I will post the actual coordinates on the cache page.

Geocaching with my Girl, gnome_goddess, over the weekend! It was a really good day! We walked along the Riverwalk -- the smells there were AMAZING. I said 'hello' to a few dogs and their people, but it was mostly a very quiet Sunday. We grabbed some dog-friendly caches throughout town -- in parks and behind stores.
