We solved this puzzle a while back and today we enjoyed our first hike in the area. Nice place! We looked for this one a long time, both on the way in and then on the way out. Finally saw it. We had seen a cat track earlier in the day and on the return we spotted a fresh deer carcass without it's head. Sure walked a bit quicker after that. Tftc.

Dropped some of the family to white water raft and then we came caching in pursuit of some solved puzzles, challenges and a couple of traditionals. Had a couple of DNFs along the way plus some rain showers. Searched for quite ahile on both beacons, using the hint as a guide, but just couldn't spot anything.

I thought I'd go for a hike today and find a few caches, but even up here it's too hot. Luckily there was a bit of a breeze. Thanks for the puzzle and cache.

I was afraid the trail would be muddy, but it wasn't bad at all. This one was tough for me. My GPSr put me equally distant from three trees, and of course I searched the wrong two first. Finally found it just as I was starting to feel frustrated. Bandit didn't seem to mind the wait. He dug a big hole in the wet sand.

I never cared a lot for this band although I did have one of their albums on vinyl. Their sound was just a little too polished for my taste.
