I needed a cache for the International Geocaching Day Souvenir and this was the closest unfound cache on my map. This one was not yet published the last time I was up here. I briefly thought about bushwhacking from the east because I was able to drive within 0.2 mile. I settled on the next closest place I could drive to. My GPS said it was 0.46 miles, but I think the hiking distance must be twice that far. And man was it hot! Bandit drank all my water and by the time we got back we were both hot, tired and thirsty. I found the cache after searching for a couple of minutes. That's a great spot. I signed the log and added some Get Out of Hell Free cards. I saw many conglomerates along the trail. Good thing I decided against bushwhacking. The terrain looked pretty intimidating. Thanks for this cache and the series. I parked at N 38 31.930 W 105 12.196.

First find of the day and first one heading down the trail. It was such a nice morning I desided to take Olive for a hike. Easy find just off of the trail. Stamped the log and we're off to the next one.[8d][8d] SL TFTC
