According to our Geocaching.com profile, we have been geocaching since April 8th, 2009. That's ten years of seeking, finding, sneaking, hiding, racing, tracking, puzzling, hosting, playing, and adventure-ing!
The Basics
What: Meet & Greet and Geocaching Trackable Gathering with Pot-Luck Dinner Date: Monday April 8th, 2019 Time: 5:00PM - 7:00PM Place: Watt's Up-fitting Conference/Showroom
8242 Cessna Drive, 80831 **Yes, this is at Meadow Lake Airport - there is a gate at the entrance on Cessna Drive, and all you have to do to enter is push the big o' button that says "Press Here To Open"**
There is no way we are going to let our 10 year milestone go by without throwing a geocaching event! Help us celebrate a decade of the hunt for smileys by coming out to Mike's shop and enjoying a Meet and Greet. Since this event is at meal time on a weeknight, we will also be providing a main dish for everyone (to-be-announced). You aren't required to bring anything to enjoy the feast - but if you'd like to, feel free to bring a side or something pot-luck-style, and note it in the log.
Aside from a Pot-Luck and a Meet & Greet, I also want this to be an opportunity to dust off the good ol' trackable collection! Let's discover, move, and trade Trackables and Geocoins! I have a lot of additions to my collection that haven't been to any events over the past few years that I'd love for our community to discover. I may even have some unactivated extras available for trade!
Let's celebrate the past ten years of geocaching, and look forward to the next ten years!
