Takes less than an hour  Short hike (less than 1km) 

When we first moved to Colorado Springs 27 years ago, I would hike up here with our kids who were pre-teens at the time. They would ask, "is this the highest point in Colorado Springs?" There weren't very many houses around ( 6 including ours in the whole Nowood area! ) so it looked like everything we could see was below us. It became a family joke that this spot was the Colorado Springs Summit! Thus the name of this cache. Access to the trail was much easier back then, now with all the houses filled in you will need to use the entry trailhead.

This was the 2nd cache of the day that my family found. My daughter spotted it first and we carefully extracted it, signed the log, and put it back. Great spot for a cache. My family loves this area too for its views. TFTC!

Came out for a hike in this open space today to look for the three caches that have been hidden here recently. This was the easiest of the three to find, but also had the nicest view. Thanks for the cache.

This one intrigued me by the title and description, so with the nice weather this AM off I went. Wow, what a superb view from near the cache! Will give this a "Favorite" point for that and causing me to see this. I very probably wouldn't have ever known about this open space sans your geocache. Smile SL. TFTH.
