Takes less than an hour  Available during winter  Thorns  Short hike (less than 1km)  Tree Climbing

I have always been impressed by the creativity of RPieperCO's caches, so I wanted to put out "Another Bison in a Pine Tree" in his honor. Since I have no skills like him, this one is just a bison in a pine tree, but I like the location and the effort to get to it. Please remove the container carefully and replace it securely!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE FTF CREW OF KEREWIN0430, QAZ, R&B CO and SQUIRTSEXPLORERS

It took me awhile to spot this one, and when I did, I couldn't quite make the reach! The CO is graciously allowing me to log the cache without signing. Great spot for a cache! TFTC

Nice day out and not far from another cache.

Went out with the family this morning to find some geocaches and this was the first one we came across. My wife spotted it first and my son scurried away to retrieve it. The log was a little damp so we let it dry out a bit before replacing. Great place for a cache though! This was our favorite of the 3 we found today. TFTC!

Coordinates had me in the wrong place at first. Once they settled down, I went right to it. Found the cache quickly and… Where is my pen? I think I’m losing a pen a day! Well, at least I still had my phone with me. Snapped a picture of the cache and log sheet in my hand as proof.
I always enjoy these type of hides

Yama Gypsy and I met up this morning to head up to Pikes Peak to hike and cache in the Devils Playground area. When we got to the gates of the highway we were told the road was closed at mile marker 13 and we wouldn't have access any higher up because of the wind. So we went to find some new caches that she hadn't found yet and this was one of them.
Thanks for placing this cache for us to find today. No problems here. Favorite point awarded.

We are also big fans of RPieperCO’s caches, so we wanted to find this cache that honored his contributions to the caching community. Gamma did the initial climb and spotted the cache but needed gampa’s long arms to retrieve it. Signed log and replaced container as found. Thanks for the fun cache.

Why thank you so much for this cache! It means a lot to know someone of your caliber appreciates my hides. Today was a beautiful day and I had no obligations, which is very unusual, so I set my gps to this cache. Couldn't have picked a better spot or placement! That was fun! After obtaining the cache I sat down to log it but dropped my pen! Well, I wasn't going down to get it, but I did bring my stamp! You'll find a few otters stamped about! Replaced as found and enjoyed the view and breeze blowing through the hills and trees. Headed down, gathered by stuff and pen and back on the trail.

Interesting side note, on the way to and from the cache I found a ton of fossilized wood everywhere! This reminds me of my earth cache in Rampart Park to the north. I believe this is an extension of the same rock formations and geological history. I found several similar chunks. Might be a good place for another earth cache!
