Amazing that ernie66 and I could even get to this spot in the middle of March. There was still quite a bit of snow as we descended into the gully, and signs that some large animal had passed that way, but they were too deep to figure out what kind of animal. It's been 2 1/2 years since this cache was done even though it's really easy to access if you've paid the cog railway just enough to get you to a requested, permanent stop at Mountain View. The cache is still in excellent condition. Glad to finally do this one. Thank you.

Wow. It's been over two years since the log was last signed! I was up in the area today and bagged it. It is right where the spoiler shows it and is in primo shape. Tftc!

In the area with WingsandTales and got this one. I liked the solution to ensure the cache doesn't wander off. TFTH!!

Kenyansherpa and I hit the middle part of the mountain today. We started with a ride on the cog train up to Mountain View and did 20+ miles before we got back to the car. Awesome day and highly successful. I picked up the coin that has been here for just short of a year. TFTC

I've put this cache off for a long time because is seemed to be a long way from anywhere. Today while out hiking with Spivey we found ourselves within a mile of it. That's close enough for a little side trip. Great trail all the way.
