Abandoned mines

This creek was dry on 04 06 13,  could have water after a rain or normal snow season.   Nice hike up the creek trail, a bit of up and down after that, bring your rock hammers, lots of fossils in the outcroppings.  Cache is in a camoed pound coffee can, pen and  log but no swag.

This one makes for a nice loop if you do the nearby Ponderosa Rocks multi first. I love this little valley. Cache was in good shape. TFTC!

We started in the wrong place. The trail is behind the parking lot on Douglas County Rd 49. We will try again!

As WingsAndTales said, thank goodness for the hint on this one because I don't think we would have ever found it. Not really a problem with the coords, just a problem with signal bounce. It's good to have another cache in this great hiking area.
