Centennial Cartoon Cache, Short hike 360 degree views of town and mountains.
This is our first attempt at hiding a cache. It is named cartoon cache because we had lots of old Simpsons stuff. This is not a theme for the cache just the name.

After finding a couple other caches closeby we came over the hill to get this one. RPieperco was with me and telling me the story of how he happened to find this one. Cache is still in great shape! Thanks for the great reason get out on the trails and hike some.

I came by during lunch to find this one. It was misty and slightly raining so it was really beautiful on the way up. Everything was nice and dry in the container. TFTC.

Thanks for the fun cache! I came over this way from another nearby one. On the way I came across a solo deer. She was cute and calm. Chatted for a few and continued on. Once at the GZ like others my heart sank a little bit. After further investigation I realized the mattress and trash had been there for awhile. and continued the search. I spent a long time searching all the trees and scrub oak. Then just as others noted, I sat down and looked up. There it was! Woo hoo! This is a tough one to track down, but the coords seem pretty good! Signed and stamped the log and replaced as found. Continued the climb up to the top and really enjoyed the 360° views. Great location! Headed back to the car for the next cache. Thanks again for placing a cache up here for us to enjoy!
