NOT FOR THE FEINT OF HEART!!

This little jaunt is dedicated to 2 awesome local cachers. First Animjason who begged for this hide. Second Geek_Teach, he inadvertently gave me the name. Met Teach at a recent event. He told me one of my hides, "Almost gave me a Heart Attack." BTW that hide is also at the MAC.

That said, this hide is at the top the top of a very popular feature at the Miller Activity Canter (MAC), the INCLINE. This beast is 200 steps up the side of a local mountain (ok, mesa). Should be simple, right.

Now this a very popular spot, so STEALTH is required.

CONGRATULATIONS to Animjason and Bhob on CO-FTF!!!!

As icezebra11 reported, we had a great trip to Castle Rock and the Parker area today with his puppy Angel and my puppies Orizaba and Chimborazo. We met up at the ParknRide in Loveland at 6 am and drove directly to Castle Rock, starting our cache-finding hikes with the dogs at the Ridgeline Open Space, shifting from there to Miller Park for a long loop hike involving some fine caches, then heading back northward to the Parker and Centennial areas for some good targets. It was a very successful day of geocaching, despite the temperatures reaching at least the mid-90s while were were on the trails. At Miller Park the zip line activities were fascinating; I will need to return there sometime to do the zip line sequence!

This was our first cache at Miller Park. With the pups we could not directly ascend the steps to the top so we needed to take the longer switchback route. Once at the top it took some real effort to find the well-hidden cache container. Thanks for this one, redwolfef6!

Denali41 and I, along with his Lab puppies Zaba and Chimi, and my Lab puppy Angel had a great caching day in the Castle Rock and south Metro areas today, scoring on a lot of really nice caches.

Our first stop was to do some hiking in Castle Rock's Ridgeline Open Space. After we finished there, we next went to Miller Park. It was definitely a really warm day on the trails! This cache was the first on our Miller Park list. We parked near the bottom of the incline and did a long clockwise loop through the park. Since we had our puppies, we weren't able to go up the incline but had to take the trail to the cache. When we got to the top there had to have been at least 20 people up there. It took some time but we eventually found the container and signed the log. Fortunately most everyone was concentrating on having come up the stairs and didn't pay much attention to us. Thanks redwolfef6 for placing this one!!!

Although we almost thought we were gonna have a heartache getting to the top, we loved searching for it and it’s in great condition!

I attached this one from the hairpin and only had to go up thirty steps or so.

I liked the way they are numbered, but these are tall steps.

Of course when I did get over here everyone in a twenty mile radius showed up to hike up the incline.

On the way down, I noticed that people going up were making some of the strangest noises that I never heard before and a few were renaming their hike up.

Thanks for a fun one!

I am a trail runner at heart and PSM is one of my favorites. I hadn't been out in a while so I thought I would go and try and get all the geocaches today. I was lucky enough to find all of them! TFTC. DNSL, no pen on my run today. Also found a nice painted rock.
