I-70 Stop N' Stretch provides a opportunity to see a great panorama within easy access of the Interstate.
For a Stop N' Stretch...Take MM 2 exit off of I-70 and go north. Where the road forks is a Dinosaur Quarry. If you walk up the trail 75 yards from the parking area you will find a BLM restroom behind the big rock. However, you want to drive 1.0 miles west on the gravel road. As you top the ridge follow your GPS. Enjoy the panorama of Rabbit Valley as you seek the small ammo box cache. It is well concealed. Cache is very popular with travelers. Contents change out weekly. Cache is on top, under ledge of north side of a huge rock on the rim. Look for small concealed cave with rocks concealing the opening. About waist high on the ledge.

I took a few hours to find some of the caches near here on my way passing through.

I returned to my car from a short hike through the dinosaur valley and drove up the steep, winding dirt road to the rocky hilltop. I parked in one of the free camp sites at the edge of the overlook. If you weren't careful, you could drive right off the edge!

I walked off a short distance in search of the cache. I was at the edge of a rocky ledge and there were so many places to look. I read some of the previous logs and gained an idea of where to look. I found the cache after a brief hunt and enjoyed the view out over the valley.

I had spent the night along a mountain stream near a rest stop just west of Denver. I wish I had known about this camping spot, I might have pushed to camp here last night. Would have been amazing!
