This cache is placed near the highest point in the Rabbit Valley area. The view from here is outstanding. There is a very well defined BLM trail all the way to the cache and the round trip hike is 5 miles with a 700 foot elevation change. The trailhead is at N39 12.990 W108 57.285. A well maintained gravel road starts at the Rabbit Valley exit on I70 and goes 5 miles east to the trailhead. The cache is a small Jar.

went on a hike with the newcomers club on a very nice cool day... one of the hikers had a gps that wasn't to accurate so i put the coords in my gps and found it easy... another hiker had a route mileage calculator and at end of hike it showed 6.3 miles round trip... TNLN...cache in good shape... SL. T4TC.

We found this on a hike back on 5/27 but not one of the 5 of us had a pen to sign! Cache is in great shape. Beautiful views from this point! Will log as a found once we go back and can sign the log. Replaced as found.
