This should be an easy find because you get GREAT gps reception up here. This cache has a nice view of the Rabbit Valley area and Bookcliffs. The cache is approximately a half mile hike and 450 foot elevation gain from the parking lot by the interstate. The hike takes you through small cliff areas but does not require any difficult scrambling if you take the right route. The cache is an ammo box that originally contained Happy Meal toys.

Lots of folks out today as to be expected, but none joining me on the steep hike to the top. A real lung burner to get the day started, but good vantage point for an overview of the area. Thanks.

what a hike up! caching with old ranger 1, that makes two old guys of 80 and 78 years. according to our gps's the elevation change is closer to 700 feet in about 3/8 horizontal distance, probably double that on the slant. thought we were at the top 3 times but it was just false summits. great view. T-dime and L-clay pigeon. T4TC, SL.

Challenge to find route. Thanks for whoever paced the cairns. The last one kept me from turning back. Lovely views. We just came from Lasal Mtn area and you can see the mountain from the cache.

Took red rubber ball and left 2 dinosaurs.
