A popular hike with a great view.

Barr Trail is one of my favorite hiking trails.  The views are beautiful every step along the way. This time  I was tagging along with WingsandTales and she suggested I bring a couple caches to place. 

So I got to thinking...ok, sounds like a plan.  Let's place a few so our friends will have another reason to come back to this great mountain. 

Enjoy the hunt and the view.

Parking at the trailhead is obtainable by on-line reservation only and is pricey, so I suggest to either take the free shuttle from Memorial Park. As another alternative, there are a limited number of short-term parking spaces at the Iron Springs Chateau for a fee. CONGRATULATIONS to MountainBear and JavaChip for FTF!!!

Enjoyed a fun day of caching along Barr Trail on a beautiful Memorial Day. We owe so much to so many brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their nation. I looked forward to this one all day long... it finally looked like I was going to find a Canada trackable for my wife (from Ontario, and very abiding of my indulgence in this hobby!), but it was the one in listed inventory that was not really here.

I was with the CO when she hid this one. We were going up the trail toward some other spots I had picked out and got to wondering if there was a way to get here. It turned out to be possible and a good spot for one of her containers. Enjoy the view and be glad we didn't go any further. TFTC
