This cache overlooks the intersection of Trails 704 and 704C and an incredible view of the valleys and nearby mountains. This is a small cache with a few trinkets, log, and pencil.

A great place to take a load off and take a break. To get to the trailhead to this trail system, go 9 miles south of Divide, CO on Highway 67 and park at the 704 trailhead. It is next to an old tunnel - you can't miss it. The 2/3 rating is mainly because of the 2/3 mile uphill climb at the trailhead. The rest of the hike is a gradual climb.

I managed to pick this one up on the inbound leg of what I’ll call overnight Sentinel Loop+, taking the free / hard way. I’ve never been here before, so I appreciate the nice caches along the route to serve as my motivation. I took this cache name to be quite literal, this rock really was relaxing and I enjoyed a quick break here. Container and log are still in great shape.

It was a great bonus that this one hasn’t been found for almost two years, because I keep track of lonely cache stats for challenges. With this find, I now have (counting only 1 year or more lonely) a total of 177 years, 8 months lonely time on 79 caches from 11 North American States & Provinces.

Date is a "roughly". I needed to double-check info from the RTP cache below ... but only had the one north of here loaded up. When I realized the one I had was too far north of where I was walking, I about-faced & came here.
