I was trying to read the map at the trailhead to figure out where the trail begins to intersect with the Colorado trail, with next month being our Girl Scout troop's goal to start backpacking the trail (Segments one & 2). Here was this little beauty- set today. I didn't realize the cache was so new.
Perfect waymark for us, and others looking to start the Colorado Trail. TN left a key. TFTC!

Got to parking lot and realized I forgot to make an offline list because of lack of cell service in the area. luckily I had this one open and downloaded. So down the trail we went. A little wet and snowy,however,gz was great.

{FTF} Saw this pop up and decided to go for it. I've been using my phone app almost exclusively, so I didn't think about not having service up here - oops. Still made the find relying on many years of geocaching experience (especially with no snow to show recent footsteps... ). Great location and nice to get outside for it. And a lesson to remember my handheld GPS as well.
