Finally! One of the closest caches to where I live and it's taken over a year to find it. First off started in the day. I knew what to look for and so I took daycare kiddos to the park to check things out. This was last summer. Got stuck at one point and so I waited. Came back at night alone and made it one step farther but then started second guessing myself so I gave up. Almost exactly 1 year today, the night of the plane crash last May, my boyfriend and I came back to see if he could figure out what I went wrong. When the first responders started streaming in we knew it was time to call it. I think at that time the cache may have been missing which was why we were getting stuck based on Lost in Denver's log. Finally reached out to the co when we came back a couple weeks ago and notice some major changes. He vectored us in and we went back to a previous location and made the find! Nicely done with the multi. Sl, thanks!

I have been coming down to Parker lately to grab caches after exhausting the ones near me. Hard to believe this is the first time I noticed this one. I LOVE NIGHT CACHES!!! So I headed over to the starting point and quickly realized that this one is not for beginners. I located the first way point, up high, just like the clue indicates. Then it was off to the races. I got to a point where I found one waypoint that was much larger than the previous ones. This is where it got tough. Mostly because of my own stubbornness. I wandered for quite a while, unable to locate any additional clues. Then I returned to the big un' and looked around. Ah ha! Another thing mentioned in the hints. But a pretty good search of the area and I was coming up empty.
So I called Lifed49. He said I was right about the hint and agreed to meet me at the cache. By now my phone was dying (not because of this cache, rather because of my irresponsibility) and I was a little nervous. But soon enough he pulled up and pointed toward the area of the cache. No luck. But we didn't need luck, because he was prepared with a replacement!
Stamped my name on the fresh log and tucked it away for the next brave finder. Game on! Happy to have found this lonely cache. TFTC!

Could not find what everyone was talking about in their logs... then as we were searching some teenagers came at 10p, parked next to our vehicle, and played at the playground. Good grief.

I had some trouble seeing all the reflectors on a previous attempt. Called a friend and found I just hadn't gone far enough. Came back and finished this in the daylight since the world is going to end after the election anyway.
Thanks for the fun hide.

We had a good time. Perfect weather to do it and no mountain lions in the area!
