I drive by this lonely 5 every day on my way to work. All the pedestrians walk on the other side of the fence, and all the cars just go driving by...so I thought I'd send some people to see him.
3/9/11--Moved this cache across the street from lonely 5 to make this a better walk for cachers, but you can still see lonely 5 over there if you approach from the east. Cache is no longer a nano but is still micro. Still on a busy street, so be careful. Easiest parking is on Brookhaven Ln.

You have no idea how long the search has been going to find a cache beginning with "5", and finally spied this on my 6 week road trip from the Pacific Northwest (WA) to FL. Now on the return leg of the journey and getting pooped. Encountered tornado in Colby, KZ day before yesterday, and hope that was the low-point of weather conditions during this trip. Staying with muggle friends in Littleton area and Muggle-Jim was quite willing to join me on the hunt. Of course, ended up on the wrong side of the wall on the first effort, but we quickly corrected that mistake and with the hint made the grab. Dry log with space for others. Had several more caches to search for but the thunder started and we called a rapid halt to the caching expedition to return home to safety. TFTC

I've been driving by this cache almost every day after I drop my son off at school. I finally had a few minutes to stop this morning.

I honestly hadn't even read the description until I am now at my work computer and writing this log. So next time I'll have to pay attention to the OTHER side of the street to see what this was originally referring to. Personally, I'm quite a fan of the number 5. Especially when it's followed by a 9. :)
