While out skiing on this beautiful Friday, I grabbed two caches on the slopes of Loveland. I always liked the name of this trail because it truly is awesome. TFTC.

Awesome snow today but the near white-out conditions that came with it were not so awesome. I misjudged this one and wound up about 40 feet below it. I wasn't going to make another run so I side stepped back up the hill. It was easy once I got close to GZ. TFTC

This was an epic powder day! I can't be expected to go to work when there's 25" of fresh in 48 hours, right? Anyway, all that white stuff made the trek to this cache kinda difficult since the slope to get there is very gradual. However, after the cache, I had a great untracked run ahead of me. Thanks!!

That was a workout! Do I get extra credit for being the only person to hike to it? BigSmile Wouldn't break my heart if you made it a 3.5 or 4 terrain. (Did not need special equipment - read: skis).

Despite being late in the season there was still a nice variety of wildflowers and there was lots of water in the little streams. Even a patch of snow nearby. A couple guys were working at the base of the #8 chair when I went past, but they didn't pay any attention to me. When I talked to some of the guys at the base area (making sure it was okay to park where I was and hike on the mountain) they said to just be out by 5:30 when the gate is locked. I told them if my vehicle was still there at 5:30, to please call search and rescue.BlackEye
