Just another cache in our beautiful valley. It is on Turkey Gulch road which runs off of Stanley Road which is the service road for I-70. It can be accessed from Idaho Springs or Dumont. A vehicle with pick up type clearance can drive right to it. A car can if you are carefull. From the pavement it is only about 500 ft walk.
The container is quart size and if possible unscrew the lid leaving the container in place.

Ok, I shoulda walked, but I took a chance driving in my rental. It has the clearance and switch on the fly 4WD, but I didn’t need them. Just a little patience, although I haven’t driven down yet... There is a narrow turnaround about 250ft past the cache before you get to the snow.

Found the cache quickly when I decided to look on the other side of the road. Nice large container. TNLNSL. TFTC

I brought my bike up to ride the Peaks to Plains trail today and then later a ride from Idaho Spring to Georgetown and back - finding caches along the way of course. I made the find here at 11:15 am. Thanks for the cache!
