This cache is placed in honor of one of our favorite cache hiders, Band-aids. "Ants on a Log" was a family favorite, so we came up with this dedication.
The cache is located along Dakota Ridge Trail. You can approach from either Dinosaur Ridge or from the trailhead on Hog Back Rd. (CO 93). Please stay on the trail regardless of how you approach. Don't let your GPSr fool you. You can get to within a few feet by staying on Dakota Ridge Trail. Approaching from Dinosaur Ridge is less steep, but a longer walk with the road closed. The approach from Hog Back Rd. is shorter from parking, but much steeper.

I would suggest water and snacks especially in summer. Also keep in mind the seasonal wildlife. Don't reach where you can't see.

If you had found "Ants on a Log" then you will have some idea what to look for.
Please be careful when opening the container to help maintain its lifespan. Hold onto the lid tight and unscrew the base. Replace as you find it or better. There is room for small trackables and trade items.

Hasn’t been found since March and at gz that’s bouncing with no cache that looks anything like the original cache photo. Guess I’ll have to come back another time.

Easy find! Great day for walking along the ridge but it was windy!!! Skies were blue and clear!! The views from there are awesome!!!

Cache is in great shape, but it will need a replacement log soon!!!
