I solved this one right after it came out, without knowing how long it would last. I didn't need this D/T for my FTF fizzy. But, I did still need this calendar day for my FTF calendar. We had a friend from out of town visit us tonight and I didn't get into bed until shortly after 2230. I set my alarm for 0500 and was still not fully asleep at 2345. Maybe my wife woke me up; maybe my brain was staying awake salivating over the opportunity. I got out of bed and headed out for this beautiful moonlit hike up the hill. The coordinates are spot on and the host was obvious. In short order I had the container in hand and my stamp on the log. The CO was also awake to congratulate me. I accepted the recognition and suggested that it was time for bed! I headed back down the hill to my car and made the drive home.

As I sit here and update my log, I know that I've still got to get up again at 0600 to head to a dentist appointment. Well, you only live once and life is about the adventure! And now as I check my stats, I come to the realization that I was off by one day!!! I needed the FTF for the 23rd. What a silly old fool I am. Let's see what publishes today or Friday and whether I'll have the chance to be at it again.
