Today I set out to grab an FTF on Mt. Falcon. In Denver is was really warm. But at this elevation, it was the perfect temperature for a hike. Unfortunately, my FTF attempt was unsuccessful, but good news - I found all the other caches I looked for! During my journey I saw a chipmunk, a fox, and heard a variety of birds. The views along the mountain are beautiful!
I was hoping this container would give me a hint on what to look for on the FTF. But it looks like this container has been replaced. For the record, although there are two logged finds on the cache including the person who replaced it, only one signature - lasouthpaw. Not so sure about the other finder. This one was well hidden. TFTC!

Out on a Mother's Day hike today. I was here a little over a year ago with my sister and my niece, but she wasn't wearing the best shoes and we wound up turning around before we got here. Found after a few minutes of searching with my little one and then stopped for a snack at the picnic table. Thanks for the smiley! Find #3500.

No luck on this one today. It could be due to some squirrely GPC coords spinning around. Next time!

Out on a hike today with DimensionGarret, weasel311, Landen24 and CacheDeposit. Came up empty handed after searching for this one.
Did not find GC10NYT - Gimme Shelter (RS1), on August 13, 2017 using Cachly for iOS.
Some may call me seriously mentally ill. Some may state that I am in a state of mind that prevents social interaction. Some may say I am in a state of mind that prevents normal perception and or behavior. I prefer to say that I tend to do the same thing over and over again, but I expect different results. That being said, I believe we only live one life and I am trying to make the best of it. I thank you, COpackrat for placing a fun geocache to fuel my "insanity" or addiction as I call it. I appreciate you bringing me here so that we could try and sign our alias's on a piece of paper you have hidden.
I look forward to finding more of your geocaches. I also look forward to potentially finding geocaches with you one day and sharing stories of our insanity... I mean hobby or addiction? Cheers!

We used our geosense as best as possible, but ultimately, we had to move along after cooking in the sun for a while.

Working my way around the open space and took a nice break here before continuing on to the end.
Thanks for the rest stop!
