I actually passed through here once on 3/15 and twice on 3/18, on the way to and from Magpie. Some locations just don't agree with me! Between dogs running off to sniff a nearby carcass, to banging my knee on a rock after putting my hand on some sharp pine needles, I just had enough of this spot.

Another delightful spring-like day . . . another walk in the woods . . . another seven geocaches - this was the fourth of them. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

Grabbed this on the way back while still paranoid about a mountain lion. Unfortunately my fears were reinforced finding a leg near the trail. But the cache was great and filled with swag.
What a journey! After work I sped westward through the mountains in hope of an FTF. Rush hour traffic wasn't too bad, especially after I passed Golden. I arrived at the trailhead at 4:40 pm
A quick check and -oh no! They have been found. At least the first 4. I didnt plan on attempting the more difficult ones because of limited daylight. But now I must. The trail was steep and parts were icy. I am prepared for most circumstances while hiking. There was one point in the dark where I was pretty alarmed. I managed to grab 5 today before I returned to the trailhead at 6:50 pm.
Thanks for another amazing mountain adventure!
