Dogs  Parking available  Bicycles

Located in a park in the Thornton/Northglenn Area. I would say a wheelchair or elecric scooter would make it to within about 10 feet or so. Difficulty is higher because of the plant life.... no bushwacking necessary. You'll need bug spray before and a comb/brush afterwards. Please cache GENTLY!

Remember, your log is my reward for placing caches. ;-)
The more you write, the better I like it. :-)
**Listed coordinates are NOT accurate - SOME work must be done ahead of time.**

An easy "mystery" cache for those cachers that don't have the time or inclination to find the square root of the isosceles triangle. Any search engine on the Internet can help you. Find facts about the great writer, C.S. Lewis, to answer the questions and complete the following coordinates:

N 39 A2.B65
W 104 AB.0C1

IT'S IN THE NAME: What do the letters "C.S." stand for? In the "C" word, how many letters are there? Put that number in place of "A" in the above coordinates.

IT'S WHO HE HUNG OUT WITH: What was the name of the writers' group Lewis was a part of (along with J.R.R. Tolkien, & Charles Williams)? How many letters are in the name of the group (one word - leave out "the")? Replace the letter "B" in the coordinates with that number.

IT'S ABOUT LOVE: How many times was Lewis married? How many times divorced? Subtract Divorced from Married and replace the letter "C" in the coordinates with that number.

Cache GENTLY!!!

Parking may be found just northwest of the cache coordinates, but it's still accessible if you come in from the south - just a longer walk.

Bring your own geo-pencil. When you log this cache, please record your favorite book and/or author. Don't forget to do the same when you log online! Happy Hunting!

Cache GENTLY!!!

**This cach was rereplace 8/03/09 in a slightly different location, but I've made sure the coordinates still work.

Solved last night. My elementary school librarian recommended Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe to me. It began my love for fantasy and adventure. Looked for ever around gz and decided to give up. Very bummed!!!

Walking out along the path, something caught my eye. I found it about 60’ west of where the coordinates put me. Cache needs some serious help. I did not attempt to remove the log. See picture.

Taking advantage of this spectacularly glorious day to do some caching while I'm in the area. I learned a lot about this author doing this puzzle, which I always appreciate. TFTC! Log is pretty grody, but still signable.

Have had the cords for this for a long time, but got used to using the iPhone APP and never really learned how to put cords into the Etrex. Had decided to do more puzzles, now that I am retired, so pulled out the Etrex and made myself learn how to put in cords. Found this one after a bit of searching because there were so many leaves. But did not want to leave without the cache and then made the find!! The cache is fine, but the log is very damp. It was ok to write on, though. TFTC TNLN

Long search with GanderGoose today, but couldn't come up with the find.

Second try after a first try in 2016. This time, I had extra clues from two different geocacher friends and I had a caching buddy for the search. We made a long, difficult search and could not locate the cache.
