12/12/2012 - Finally finished this one off. Picked up GeoCoin Trackable tooRef my 18 Nov entry, not sure why but the GPSr had me closer to the WP this time (like within 5')last time I was off nearly 30 feet. The coords were still in the GPSr from the last attempt so it wasn't me entering them any different. Also got a nudge from DOC4001 so knew we were looking for another washer. In case someone else encounters a similar issue when searching for WP 7 this one is eye level.
Using the coords here, don't be fooled when you get to a 'T' in the trail, we took the wrong way for about a mile before deciding to come back and try the other direction.
At WP 9 almost made another mistake - Hint: for every degree there are only 60 minutes. We almost left thinking the CO made an error. Would have been mad at myself had I made it home and realized why I was nearly 60 miles off course.
11/18/12 - Beginning to feel like a Soap Opera. We found 3 more stages today. Not sure what happened. Every one so far has taken me to the exact spot. Any way, this stage I got stuck on, we (Daughter and I) looked for about 30 minutes. GZ was about 10 feet off the trail, but we searched about a 125' radius. Wasn't sure if we were looking for another set of coords or the cache. Either way we could not go on. (of course no cell coverage so could not try to seek assistance). I will send all coords to CO since I have been forwarding them as I get them based on an entry in the log. Anyway, the set of coords that led me here had a 2 stamped upside down. I tried changing it to a 5, but that is 3+ miles away. Swapping the first 2 digits makes it made it 89 NM away - so probably not that. But any day riding these trails is a good day. Work kept me away most of the riding season this year - so all in all - a good day.
8/12/12 What a hike in riding gear to WP4 - Let's just say I have more work to do vice spoiling anything. One of our riders had some mechanical issues so we had to forgo this one yet again. I will ride again and will not be defeated!
7/19/12 - Tried this again. Got coords through wp 3. WP4 was 500 feet off the trail up the side of a steep climb - with all the downed trees don't think it was right. I'll send a note with pix when i get a chance. TFTC.

Went out for a ride today and checked out most of the coordinates. Replaced waypoint 2. If anyone is heading out I can give you the coordinates for waypoint 4 if you let me know the status of waypoint 3 which is the only one I did not get to.

Found the final quickly while in the area doing some motorcycle riding. Bravo on this multi my friend. It took over a year to get all the tags along the way.. A few were missing that I could tell heading to the final tonight, but I was not stopping to look harder either.. Just went to the final.. Final is in a great spot. This will get a Fav point from me.. If I could give two I would.. I like when I can ride and cache at the same time.. The Final is in great shape.
I traded trackables. Actually I took all that were in there to move them on and put one new one in.
Found with my little riding buddy.
TN Else, just the trackables.

Planned out a great day of ATVing and geocaching - planned to do the 717 loop and the Cache 717 along the way -- but could not find the second stage. Checked all the trees with in 100-ft of GZ -- but as is mentioned earlier in the log -- a lot of logging / downed trees and remaining stumps make me wonder if the washer marking the next stage went with the logging company. Will try again for sure. Finished the loop -- just not Cache 7171. TFTC!

Looks like logging got the best of the second stage of this cache. Please let us know the coordinates to the third stage or help us replace the second stage. Thanks
