After some new caches published in this area, someone told me that Kriskook used to have one along this trail, Seat with a View - Trail 638, GC1BHRZ.

I looked it up took the info along the next time I hiked it. Amazingly we found it and it was in perfect condition. It was archived 11 years ago and hadn't been found in over 13 years. I left the original log sheet in the container for historical purposes. Since this is a new cache listing you will need to sign the new log sheet even if you found the previous cache in order to claim the find. It's a great trail and worth the hike.

Congrats to gampa&gamma for the FTF

We saw this cache publish yesterday and wanted to go after it before the snow forecast for the next few days makes the hike and find more difficult. Today’s weather was perfect for hiking Heizer Trail and our microspikes made the trail conditions easy to manage.
After an almost 5 mile hike from parking, we approached GZ and found the container. We signed the log and replaced the container as found. Thanks for the fun cache - fave point for the challenging and scenic hike to GZ.
