This was neat. Very clever with the opposite coords and waypoint projection. Favorite for sure. Swapped a bug.

The 3rd find of the morning. We are on the return leg of our great Buena Vista adventure. Enjoyed our stop here and a chance to stretch the legs. We initially interpreted the coordinate bearing completely the opposite, which it turns out takes you very near another object consistent with the description, but closer to muggle activity. Eventually reread it and this time made the find. Dropped a couple of TBs into the container. Many thanks.

Headed out for a long Father's Day weekend. Cache was in great shape but the chain that held it to the tree is broken. TNLN SL. Thanks for placing this cache, we had a great time finding it.

400' was a longer walk than we thought! Pretty though, and a nice cache. There were several trinkets inside, we traded 1:1. Did not see the reported stamp.

The McGillicutty clan was in town this week for a long awaited (20 years in the making) family vacation! We had been on plenty of weekend trips in the past, but never a week long, anything's possible, adventure in the mountains. Little did we know, not everything was possible this week. Sooo, this thing you locals call "migration season", I mean I'm all about animals & being one with nature, but do the moose, elk & Sasquatchi really need 6 weeks to move around the mountains? The Geo-pups didn't even see any squirrels or rabbits to chase.
The gondola was shutdown, the lake/marina was shutdown, the resorts & their scenic restaurants were all shut down. One guy told us the restaurant on Peak 7 was still open, nope, shutdown too. Don't get me wrong, we still had a great time after we adjusted to the thin air, but where was Bigfoot? We saw the crossing signs, but no footprints. It snowed a couple times, which was odd & cool, since I didn't think that would happen so late in May. Too many good restaurants, too little time. We'll just have to come back in the peak of winter or the middle of summer after the lake fills back up! TFT-smileys!
We wound up cutting our trip to Breckenridge short a couple days early so we could drive down to Pike's Peak on the way home. Grabbed this cache on the way thru to CO Springs! Ollie the GeoPup accompanied me to ground zero & sniffed his way through the pines! TFTC!

Après avoir cherché 30 minutes nous abandonnons... DNF
MPLC

Our English is not perfect, we use Google Translate to help us ...
Our journey began last August 22 and will take us to visit twelve US states and two Canadian provinces ... Our departure was from Baie-Comeau, a city on the North Shore of Quebec and then continue for a few days in Quebec City where we did some Geocaching .... Then we stopped at St-Eustache and Ville de Laval, still in Quebec, and then flew to Portland, Oregon... We made stop in Umatilla on August 28 still in Oregon, August 29 in Boise, Idaho, August 30 in Twin Falls and August 31st we are in Salt Lake City for two days... The 2nd of september we were in Rock Springs. Wyoming and the september 3 the road brought us to Laramie, Wyoming... Today will be our second and final day in the Colorado Springs area
Throughout the trip we have targeted some caches that will help us achieve our personal goals and we will certainly discover new places that Geocachers here will want us to discover ... We have been planning this trip for several months and know we will not be able to not all see for lack of time ... There are many caches but we must close our eyes can not find them all ... But it is with pleasure that we will put our signature on some of them ...
Thank you for creating these caches that add smiles to our profile and make us have a good time regardless of the mood of Mother Nature ... Our log will be the same for the whole day and if there is a particularity we will add it at the beginning of the text ... Favorites will be added here and there for all the work done ... TFTC

Did the projection, which matched what was said in one of the logs. Looked all around but came up empty handed.

Good one; my direction wasn't perfect, but once reached 400 feet simply looked around and found the container. It has a solid chain attached to it, but said chain isn't attached to anything else. Good job and TFTC!

Third full day of my "EPIC Adventure 2018" trip with Brewce. Today was a big day....3-Y2K caches, one of which WILL complete my Jasmer for the THIRD time. SO excited!!
We headed out from Milwaukee to the great West, on the agenda were: 8 - Y2K caches, completing my 3x Jasmer and setting me up nicely for 4x Jasmer, virtual geocaches, webcams, challenge caches, caches helping complete already signed challenges, high favorite pointed caches, and, most importantly, fun and laughter along with anything else we wanted to stop and do! We achieved all those things and more, so much more.
We saw things we never knew about or never thought we would see - amazing! Our timing for the entire trip could not have been planned any better. Driving by car is the best way to see America, it allows for impromptu stops and deviations, which we did...many times....and on this trip we drove a total of 4,500 miles and all I can keep saying is "wow, just wow!!" of all we saw. One of my best adventures ever thanks to geocaching, thanks for being part of it!
So after pulling roadside for a few hours of sleep, we stopped here to stretch our legs, change our clothes, brush our teeth...and find a geocache or two! It was a brisk morning but refreshing. As we went over to the facilities there were a few guys who had slept at the location on a hammock. They were skatboarding to California and wanted to reach there before the winter. They said the upcoming road for us was a doozy, I guess I'm glad my auto is motorized! After the exchange of words and getting situated, we hunted the nearby traditional and then this letterbox. Whew! We had it all wrong. Brewce wanted to give up but I was relentless in the search, the read-re-read...I still really don't know how he came up with the actual location by logic, but glad we made this find. What a beautiful day! Now on to Tarryall to finish my jasmer for the 3rd time.

Head West today finding a few caches along the way. I drove through some beautiful country today. I stopped here to take a break and stretch my legs. I found this LB cache in good shape, but no longer actually hugging the tree. Thanks for the fun!

Unsere ganz besonderen Ziele waren:
- GC37 „Missouri´s First – Watts Mill“
- viele virtuelle Geocaches
- zahlreiche weitere sehr alte Geocaches

Our program was exhausting for 11 days, but we did it. It was a great time with a great team, we had a lot of fun. Thank you very much for joining us and making this great program full of verve.
A big thank you also to all owners of the geocaches for the laying and maintenance of these geocaches!
Especially for this cache:
Again, we were successful.
