This is a new series of caches placed simply to give you an extra reason to go for a wonderful drive in the mountains!

Congrats Go Buffs on FTF!

This new series is designed to take you on a nice drive with plenty of views of mountains, lakes, flora, and fauna of the Rocky Mountains.  The first set of caches I have placed are on a road between Carter Lake and Pinewood Lake.  All of these caches are located near a large pull-off on the side of the road so you will be safe.  Most of them should be very quick finds for you.  Don't forget to stop at each cache and take some pictures and enjoy the views! 

You're getting much higher up here!  You can see alot of the reclamation center and the views are breath-taking!  I purposely hid the cache away from the guard rail so that you could step up to the fence and just enjoy the views around you!  These spots are amazingly beautiful, especially when there's a light snow covering the landscape!

[DNFed this one today.
I spent a few minutes looking around, then caved and looked at the hint. I sure couldn't spot a cache container "there", so I glanced at a few recent logs, and wound up trying the coordinates a previous finder posted last year. Still nothing.] The fence looks kind of new, or at least updated. Could this have happened in the last 3 months and therefore led to the loss of the cache container?

Difficulty locating GZ. Coordinates are off or else cache has been moved. I had luck with the following coordinates: N 40 21.841. W 105 14.687. Inked the log and replaced as found at stated coordinates. Container and log are in great shape. The views get more beautiful the higher up you go. TFTH!
