This is a new series of caches placed simply to give you an extra reason to go for a wonderful drive in the mountains!

Congrats Go Buffs on FTF!

This new series is designed to take you on a nice drive with plenty of views of mountains, lakes, flora, and fauna of the Rocky Mountains.  The first set of caches I have placed are on a road between Carter Lake and Pinewood Lake.  All of these caches are located near a large pull-off on the side of the road so you will be safe.  Most of them should be very quick finds for you.  Don't forget to stop at each cache and take some pictures and enjoy the views! 

The first cache is located near the Visitor's Center if you have any questions about the area or want to buy a Park Pass to go visit Carter Lake or any of the other amazing parks our state has!

Found it at 1114.
It only took me a few seconds to spot this one. I'd never been on this road before, I don't think, but it was a very nice drive on a pretty Spring day.
