Of all your were I goes this one frustrated ne the most. Everything worked just fine, it just took me 7 trips to town to finally have the time to get the final cache. Just not sure why I drove 30 miles to get one cache. Thanks for the cache

Greetings from Sydney, Australia! Found with NYWanderer. While I had the opportunity, I wanted to finish off my Jasmer Challenge (which is impossible to do without international travel, for us Aussies). I only had four combinations remaining (June 2000, July 2000, August 2000 and September 2000), so I hatched a plan and roped in NYWanderer for great company. I flew into Salt Lake City from New York and met NYWanderer at the airport, where we collected the hire car to start our road trip. We had some specific caches mapped out, in addition to the Jasmer caches, including a number of Challenge Caches we had qualified for. We spent the night in Salt Lake City, then headed south towards the incredible Arches National Park, ticking off ‘Potters Pond’ (August 2000) on the way, and staying overnight in Moab. The next day we continued towards Colorado Springs, getting a First To Find at ‘Cache by the Falls’, as well as ‘Tarryall’ (July 2000) in subzero temperatures while the snow blanketed us and the landscape. First thing in the morning of day four, we scaled Mays Peak to find ‘Paul Barclay Stash’ (September 2000) and a First To Find at ‘My first hide’. It was at this point we realised one of the tyres on the hire car had been punctured and it was losing pressure quickly. Oh no! At least we were parked in a quiet enough spot to easily swap out the flat with the spare tyre. This had thrown a spanner in the works and we now needed to go hunting for a place to get it fixed, instead of hunting for more caches. But, it could have been worse. We made it to Denver, where we spent the afternoon, and once the tyre was fixed, we continued north to Cheyenne for the night. We had a big drive across Nebraska the next day, picking up three First To Finds at ‘St. Mary's Cemetery-Oconto’, ‘Jewell Cemetery’ and ‘St. Patrick's Cemetery’, and spent the night in Grand Island. Heading south the next day, we picked up a First To Find at ‘The Other Scranton Cemetary’ and stopped by the geo-graphical centre of the contiguous United States, before tracking east towards Kansas City, where I was lucky enough to complete my main goal for the road trip, the Jasmer Challenge, by finding ‘Missouri's First - Watts Mill’ (June 2000). It was a very memorable road trip and I am very grateful I was able to explore some more places in this amazingly diverse country. Thanks to NYWanderer for the great company and Thanks For The Caches to the respective Cache Owners, and for showing us some awesome spots. On to the next big challenge! “JordsAU

Day 4 of a road-trip with JordsAU targetting his completion of the Jasmer Grid. Paul Barclay Stash (GC67) was the day's main target as we had an otherwise "slower" driving day, moving only from Colorado Springs, CO to Cheyenne, WY. That turned out to be quite ok given that our car informed us we had low tire pressure as we got up in the morning and by the time we got back from Paul Barclay and headed towards Denver, we ended up with a full on flat tire. Despite the slowdown we still managed one FTF, made it to JordsAU's other main "destination" of the day: Casa Bonita! (thank you, South Park...), and had the best Uber driver ever - an ex Brooklyn drug-dealer, who used to follow the Grateful Dead and Phish on tour all over the world, grateful to be alive but struggling to survive the boring, health-nut lifestyle of Boulder, CO :D
After our Casa Bonita visit and retrieving our car with now quasi-functional tires, we stopped for a few more caches along the way. Had done part of the legwork on a few wherigos in the area in the past, and now was the time to complete and collect. Always appreciate educational caches and this one was definitely one of them. TFTC!

The 5th and last day for DDSRN and me to treasure hunt in Colorado. We had some great adventures - driving and hiking in 6 inches of snow was probably the trickiest part of the trip, besides hiking at high elevations for the man from SC. We picked up 3 of the oldest caches in Colorado, met requirements for many challenge caches, added a few D/T's to our Fizzy, and just had a grand time driving south to north and a little west.
Now this IS a long Wherigo takes you all over the area. We finally got a map out to show us streets that may take us to the next location for the ones you drive to. We found ourselves bumping into dead end roads. The map was a must for us. TFTC

After completing several virtual caches this morning with Betzij, we took on this Wherigo. Definitely not walkable! Made the find and signed the log. TFTC!
