What a fun virtual! Learned a lot about gold mining. Giving this one a favorite.

This was a great trail through the history of the area’s gold mining history. A favorite. A photo of my hiking stick taken at the Theresa Mine is attached. Answers sent to the CO.

So the first time we came up here we found a bunch of caches, this one was on the list but we did not have enough time then. However this time along with PayMeCache and the crew we made the snowy journey to tackle this awesome Virtual. Honestly my wife and I love Cripple Creek. We have been trying to make the Molly Mine a Earth Cache, but reviewers do not like it. Anyway what a great time. Thanks for bringing us here and the answers have been sent. Favorite point awarded.

Some may say we are crazy, but this game/hobby is one of the greatest gifts. Who doesn’t love a great scavenger hunt. Hiking, biking or driving hundreds of miles to sign our name on a piece of paper. This brings us a lifetime of joy, and new friends from all around the world.

Thanks for placing this cache and keeping our recreation going. SL/with PoshCacher/MagicCacher.Tftc

Well weather sure turned south on us here today. weasel311 was lucky to get out alive with us and not get any frostbite as he was under dressed for the hike, or should I say our run to all the locations to gather the information for the group. Answers sent in and some photos along the way are attached.

Some may call me seriously mentally ill. Some may state that I am in a state of mind that prevents social interaction. Some may say I am in a state of mind that prevents normal perception and or behavior. I prefer to say that I tend to do the same thing over and over again, but I expect different results. That being said, I believe we only live one life and I am trying to make the best of it. I thank you, KC0HEV for placing a fun geocache to fuel my "insanity" or addiction as I call it. I appreciate you bringing me here so that I can try and sign my alias on a piece of paper that you have hidden.

I look forward to finding more of your geocaches. I also look forward to potentially finding geocaches with you one day and sharing stories of our insanity... I mean hobby or addiction? Cheers!

This one ended up being quite the journey. It was a bit cold and windy and some of the signs had to be cleared of snow. Ended up as a great hike and got me out to victor, which is a neat little town. Thanks for the cache.

I didn't know what to expect ahead of time, but this was an interesting exploration. There were quite a few people enjoying the location. Thanks for putting this multi together and bringing me here, KC0HEV.

11:17 AM We are here from Dallas for our typical August vacation in Divide in order to skip the Texas heat for a couple of weeks.

My wife had researched the Gold Mining Museums and Tours to share with our relatives. She claims to have discovered this walking tour. I distinctly remember learning about it from this geocache. I don't mind her taking credit because it was a great experience.

I sent the answers. Thanks, KC0HEV, for the cache. Adding a favorite point. Posting a non-spoiler picture.

We worked our way from Indiana to Colorado Springs via Columbia, MO and then WaKeeney, KS. After spending five days at Garden of the Gods Campground with the Geowinnies and my brother and his wife we headed to the Cripple Creek KOA. We’re doing a little caching and sightseeing between the rainstorms that we hear are much needed in this area.

Today was absolutely gorgeous and sunny with only a spot of rain that happened during our walk on this virtual cache. We didn’t realize before we started that it was a 2.02 mile hike and didn’t realize it was that far until I read the sign in one of my pictures. This hike though was amazing! I am so glad we took the time to do it. We learned a lot and enjoyed the scenery immensely. Our puppy also enjoyed seeing the chipmunks and rabbits. Good thing he was leashed! My brother and sister-in-law muggles were with us and also enjoyed the walk. We still haven’t converted them to caching yet but we’re working on it.

Thanks so much KC0HEV for putting out this really excellent cache and for the smiley. Definitely a favorite point given! Pictures posted and answers will be sent.

Love this trail!

Truly time well spent, and we can't believe it took us so long to"strap it on." A real surprise came at about 1/2 mile when we rounded a bend and a whole new complex of mines and structures opened up, not otherwise visible. Thanks for putting this one together. FAV.

Almost skipped this one as had started raining earlier, but the rain had stopped by the time I got to the area, so changed my route again and gave it a go. I'm glad I did as I really enjoyed this one.
Thanks!
