ALL ABOARD the Polar Express!! There is no cache at the listed coordinates, but it is the recommended parking area to begin your journey.

Congratulations to Wolfpack01 on FTF, although Tom.dog actually had the lead for awhile there (had wrong coordinates for Stage 1- let this be a lesson to others embarking on this train ride. Of-Erad and Claudey did too... might want to check it out for yourself and not trust other's "help". I'd like to state again, while this is a snow/winter friendly cache, it is only "friendly" if you are dressed for the conditions. I take no responsibility for frostbite if you go hiking in tennis shoes in the snow. Have fun.

All waypoints can be solved from comfort of your couch. Trivia is based on the movie "Polar Express" with Tom Hanks and directed by Robert Zumeckis, c2004. You do not need to watch or buy the movie in order to solve this cache, but the movie is the fastest way to solve it.

At each waypoint there is a letter that will spell out a word punched on your imaginary magic train ticket to get you to the final. You might figure out what your ticket says before you visit all 5 train stops, but that alone won't get you to the final.

You'll need to take note of both the letters and the information on them and then unscramble them to form the word that would be stamped on your ticket (all in the spirit of the movie). Duplicate letters are numbered 1 and 2 so you know the correct order. Final contains sleigh bells for all kids big or small that "BELIEVE". No need to trade for the sleigh bells but please do trade for any other swag in the container. This cache is winter/snow/child friendly. All stages are close to a trail, and it is recommended to solve for all waypoints before heading out and then when you are seeking out the clues, always backtrack to the main trail before continuing on. The stages create a nice loop and its much easier to walk on the trail then fight your way through scrub oak (unless you are Tom.dog).

What a fun adventure! I came out here today with Kiwipie and we made quick work of each of the 5 stages which are all in great shape. We then checked the sun and determined that we had enough time to go for the final which we found quickly after determining that we were on the right trail. The final was not in great shape.. what was left of the container crumbled as we pulled it out. That said, everything was dry! We had a wonderful time through the whole cache. Thanks so much for putting it together! More multis!!

We watched the movie yesterday with our 4 grandkids and came up with the coordinates for the 5 waypoints. So we went out today to find the clues at each waypoint. The grands enjoyed the hike and the finds. We put the clues together and went after the final. Another fun hike and the grands found the final with help of the hint. Unfortunately, the grinch must have gotten there first as the container was broken and there were no jingle bells remaining. :o( So we stopped on the way home for a Wendy's Frosty to erase their disappointment. :o) Thanks for the fun, family-friendly multi! Smiley #3600!

This was lying in the open with no lid, but the log in the baggie was still OK. I left it tucked back out of sight. TFTC.
