Wow, some of these puzzles were quite difficult to solve. Today we went to grab our smiley and our #1500 find. YES! Tftc.

I found it! How epic! I have been working on these puzzles off and on for about three months. I would get one and then chase rabbits and unicorns on the others. I classically overworked them. About three weeks ago, boom. One more made sense. Then another. Then another. Then, I was missing two digits. Left it for a minute, came back, and it was staring me in the face. I had the numbers. A green light! Yahoo! I was so proud of myself for solving a four star puzzle. Wow. Yesterday I hiked Blodgett Peak so today I was looking for something a little more tame. I noticed I had this one solved near a beautiful walking trail. So I set out for it. I was on the phone when I arrived at GZ so I could look without looking too suspicious (why is that?). No luck. Hung up the phone, moved a branch, and there it was. Over a year and a half lonely! And with the signed names on this log, well, I sort of felt like I was the jester in the court of kings and queens. The log is in pristine condition with plenty of space. When I touched the tether, it came off in my hand (it had grown in the tree). So I re-added some camo duct tape (that had also succumbed to the elements) and hung it in the same place but with a hook-style instead of a twist. This one was fantastic. Favorite point and it goes on my ‘recommend for others’ list.

Great puzzle and a super easy find. Thankfully it was in the second place I looked, Yeah for leather gloves!
No little stinky friends running around today. Thanks for the cache!

Thanks for the fun cache! I had a good time with the puzzles. I had managed to figure most of them out but there were a couple pesky ones that took a bit more research.
Today I headed over to the final. As I approached something caught my eye. At first I thought it was a dog, then a cat, then I knew EXACTLY what it was! Lol! It was a skunk!
I took a few steps back from the GZ and watched the little critter scamper about hunting worms and bugs. He paid little attention to me but kept going back to the GZ. I snapped some pictures and talked to my new found friend but he paid little attention to me.
Finally he walked far enough away I was able to get to the GZ. After a short but thorough search I had the cache in hand. Mind you I looked for the cache only seconds in between looking around for my friend hoping he wouldn't sneak up behind me.!
Quickly signed and stamped and returned as found. Aquick look around to make sure I had a clear shot back to the sidewalk and off I went.
I spent a few more minutes looking around for the little critter, but he must have had his full.
Thanks for a very memorable cache, and fun puzzle!
