Still love puzzles I can solve and find without assistance. This was one of those. Thanks Rich_Life for increasing my confidence with puzzle caches.

Thanks for the fun puzzle cache! Cache is still there. The log was damp and had washed out all the other signatures, so it looked like a new log.

This was a bit of a wild goose chase for me. I'm from Wisconsin, and in town for a National Curling meeting. Staying at a hotel in the Academy Blvd area, this looked like a fun puzzle challenge. I did the internet work to secure the coordinates of the cache, and set off on foot to try to find it. After a walk of a couple miles, I got near GZ, but didn't have enough time to figure out to get there. That was yesterday. Today I gave it another try, with a great deal more time available. So after walking back to the cache area, I had to guess which side of the stream to try first. Taking a nice paved path, I found myself on the wrong side of the stream about 10 minutes later. Retracing my steps, as that was the only reasonable way to get to GZ. So back on the other side of the stream, there was some bushwhacking needed, but I finally arrived at my coordinates. Using the hint, I think I gave it a reasonable search but turned up nothing. Back at the hotel, and looking at the difficulty/ terrain ratings, I think I was likely at the correct place; and I just needed to continue searching. I'm leaving Colorado tomorrow, so I won't have another chance to make the find here. All told, I think I have at last 12 miles logged in on the unsuccessful search. Oh well, it was a fun experience, even though it did not end in success.

Went on a puzzle run after the event to score points for the Planetary Pursuit. Fun puzzle, thanks for placing it. This one was a bugger to find, though! Interesting hide. Despite the container and the thick plastic bag, the log was soaked and unable to be signed without tearing the paper. I tried my best to scratch KW on. I do have a picture of the log as proof of find if the CO requests it! TFTC

We cached our way to the Colorado Springs area with several goals in mind. First there were three events that we wanted to attend during the weekend. We also wanted to work on our Planetary Pursuit points to earn the 10 souvenirs that are available. Next we wanted to get the new gorgeous GCCO coin, and finally we are working towards our 40,000 find BigSmile.

We replaced numerous caches that had numerous DNF's along with log and or containers that needed maintenance. There was also a nano container that we had to replace because we dropped the bottom of container and could not find it. Took about 10 minutes to finally find this one. Log was soaked container still in good shape. We placed a new log in container to keep cache going. Nicely done, SL

Thank you Rich_Life for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

Had to take Hobune for some new shoes, had looked like more but then the smith decided they'd made a mistake earlier and only shoes were required. While Hobune was with the smith and I took AWT (alternate wheeled transportation). Having identified the general area and where to put in I headed on to Monica's and breakfast burritos.
After picking up Hobune from the smith I headed for the put-in point and made for the cache. While two small muggles were in the area of the cache I bedazzled them and searched for the cache. A cleaver cache but the log is destroyed, a little TLC is required and while I didn't have the material to replace the log I will log this one. Accurate hint, the difficulty is really in the hunt, not the puzzle. Appreciate the placement.

Great hide.

TFTC I came down to the Springs with nicehice to work on a few solved puzzles and new caches.
The puzzle was easier than the find. Great hide, good hint, and neat container. Log was soaked, but we managed to sign it.
This gets a Favorite point!

I was a little uncertain about the terrain for this, but decided to at least take a look before the weather changed. Today turned out to be a good opportunity to make the find. TFTC.

Jojo383, my mom, and I are on a long roadtrip from Sacramento, CA to GeoWoodstock in Denver, CO, with an additional stop in Kansas City, KS. We're trying to get contiguous counties on our trip, and pick up as many states as possible. This is one of the caches we got today.

We had to hop, skip, and jump to get to the cache, and once we were at GZ it still wasn't an easy task to find!! Eventually jojo383 saw something suspicious and there it was. Woo!

TFTC!!! Signed log and RAF.

Whoa, the rocks were slippery and extreme caution was needed to get to the GZ. But, be after the family made it across, we started searching with no luck. Saw a few things that made sense, but no luck. After about ten minutes of searching, I spotted something that eventually turned out to be the well camo'd cache. Fav point from me despite the terrain which I think should be higher than the 2.5. Signed the log as J&K. TFTC.
