Take CR 307 off Hwy 285 at Trout City. Take CR 187 6 miles to the fork. Head right towards Aspen Ridge on CR 185 2 miles and the left onto CR 185C. Go uphill through the Aspen forest about 1 mile to ghost town. The cache is located on the top of the hill behind the Futurity Hilton Hotel.
The cache is inside a plastic pencil box with a blue lid. Inside we left a log book with camera, Buena Vista postcard, deodorant, chapstick, sunscreen, two games, and a deck of cards.


PS. Bring a sack lunch and enjoy the view!

Great ride up the mountains to see the colors, get off the beaten path, and camp and 4WD. Not to mention grab some caches and take short hikes.

T4TC cool spot and awesome views trackable is gone, so we to a Indian dream catcher. I have to say the terrain on this one is far tougher than a 1.5, at least a 2.5 on terrain as it's certainly not a flat walk to a stop and grab. But it is an awesome spot, and the cabins below are so cool!

The hubby and I are are on a joint birthday trip... his was a week ago, and mine was on the 1st.....four~wheeling, camping, exploring....and of course, geocaching... what better way to celebrate?.....this was #15 of 20 we found today...loved the signs on the buildings...funny!...the views were a bit obscured...it was drizzly, rainy, cloudy all day... :( but we found the cache!...tftc!
...ps.....there was no tb in the cache... :(

Today we visited the site and replaced the pencil box with a larger plastic container, put in a new log book, took out the camera, and cleaned up the area. The cache was in the original location and the new box is in that same spot.
