A bit of a climb, but a very nice area.
From Monument/Palmer Lake take Mt. Herman Road. Great area, but a rough road. Not a good winter cache but with good boots it's a easy enough find this time of year (little to no snow). Park in parking area at trail head. Not great for smaller children. Not good if there is a lot of snow.

This cache container is now an ammo can. A big thank you to the kind folks that helped maintan this cache while I was unable too do so.

Please let us know if the coordinates are correct as there are lots of tree's and "hills" in the area.

What a great day for caching. My daughter and I set a goal of 10 near Mt Herman and were not disappointed. This was our seventh of the day. Great cache and in great shape. TFTC and SL.

I happened to be in the area looking for an FTF on my birthday and sadly had no luck with that one, but this one was on the same trail! This was a nice and easy find. Oh, what a cool trail! My phone was bouncing all over the place but after a few minutes, I had the cache in hand. Thanks for having this one out here for us to find today.

Thanks for the fun cache! I needed a good hike today after a long work week. I decided I'd climb up Mt. Herman and grab a few caches along the way. Resistance was my ultimate destination. This was my first one and made for a quick find. Signed and stamped the log and replaced as found. All is well here! Thanks for placing this for us all to enjoy!

Zoiks, I made this harder than I should have, since my gps wanted me to crawl under the boulders. Almost lost my sunglasses. The logbook may not last long, so i donated a few pages from my notebook. My pen stopped worked too, so I signed in charcoal. lol
