I began fostering dogs during the COVID-19 pandemic. I had wanted to foster for years, but being stuck at home finally motivated me to get started. I had also just started volunteering in January that year, so fostering was a way to still contribute when we couldn't physically be in the shelter. This is a series of geocaches dedicated to the foster animals we have loved since then!

Domino was our fourth foster dog and we had him from July 1st through 24th, 2020. Domino was healing from a fracture repair surgery - the first of many dogs that I helped recover from similar procedures. He was a very enthusiastic and exuberant companion, but also had a sensitive side. He was so handsome that he always scored a Puppuccino at Starbucks. He was medically cleared and adopted!
